Since the launch of the Honda Civic in 1972 it has sold over 27 millions units across 170 countries. As one of our most popular models, we can’t wait to announce the release of the next Generation Honda Civic. Set to release in Autumn 2022, the all-new Honda Civic becomes the latest model to feature in Honda’s objective for all mainstream European models to include electrified powertrains by 2022. The 2022 Honda Civic is the culmination of years of work at Honda to deliver the usability, comfort and style that this beloved model is already well known for.
The exterior of the 2022 Honda Civic has been completely redesigned. LED headlights now come as standard and feature a new dual-low-beam design. Similar changes have been made to the back where the Civic now sports an LED taillight that stretches the full width of the tailgate. Other design changes are notable at the back. New faux diffusers and chrome exhaust exits give the Civic a stylish finish. The sloped roofline differs from previous models and the 18 inch black alloys give the Honda Civic a defined aesthetic. These changes give the new Honda car a modern and bold appearance.
Our cutting edge e:HEV system seen in both the Honda Jazz and HR-V features in the 2022 Honda Civic. The engine uses a pair of electric motors connected to a 1.5 litre petrol engine to provide maximum torque. This petrol-electric hybrid engine helps optimise revs for efficiency and performance. You are also able to choose between three driving modes depending on your driving preference and required fuel efficiency. Using a continuously variable transmission the Honda Civic has smooth acceleration and a responsive pedal action.
Some of the best new features of the 2022 Honda Civic are found on the interior of the car. The new cabin design is more spacious than previous models. A honeycomb-style trim with integrated air vents run the length of the dashboard. The interior is also packed with modern technology. A 12 speaker Bose premium sound system will fill your car with crisp and immersive audio. Connecting your smartphone to the Bose system is seamless with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. On the dashboard of the Honda Civic you have a digital interface so you can take calls and use navigation apps. Using the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System will allow you to use offline maps, so you can find your way even without cell-phone signal.
Using advanced technology, the 2022 Honda Civic is designed to keep you safe on the road. A Blind Spot Information system will alert you to the presence of a vehicle approaching a blind spot in your mirrors. The Cross Traffic Monitor uses sensors to alert you of drivers approaching from the side when you are reversing. The Honda Civic also comes with a Multi-Angle Rear-view Camera to help give you a better view of what’s behind you when trying to reverse into a tight spot. As soon as you’ve parked there’s no need to manually lock the car. Simply shut the doors and walk away and the Honda Civic will lock itself and unlock as soon as you return and grab one of the front-door handles.
The all-new Honda Civic is arriving in Europe from Autumn 2022. Stay tuned for more news about pricing and pre-orders.
