This is a varied, hands-on role that involves moving vehicles around the dealership, supporting vehicle collections and deliveries, assisting with valeting and helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-organised site.

The Role
As a Site Attendant / Driver, you’ll help ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time, supporting our Sales and Aftersales teams and helping us deliver a high standard of customer service.
You’ll be a key part of the dealership team, working across different areas of the business and taking pride in keeping the site organised, presentable and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Move and position vehicles safely and efficiently around the dealership site in accordance with Line Manager guidance, ensuring vehicles are parked in the appropriate areas and readily available for servicing, valeting, collection, delivery or other operational requirements

Support the efficient organisation of vehicles and general site logistics, including maintaining awareness of vehicle locations and ensuring keys are handled securely in accordance with dealership procedures

Carry out customer vehicle collections and deliveries as required, providing a prompt, courteous and professional service and ensuring vehicles are treated with care

Complete any appropriate checks and paperwork associated with vehicle movements, collections and deliveries, reporting any issues or damage promptly to the Line Manager

Assist with vehicle cleaning and valeting duties as required, ensuring vehicles are presented to the required dealership standard before being returned to customers or made available for sale

Maintain the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the dealership site, including keeping work areas clear, tidy and free from avoidable hazards

Assist with general site duties as directed by the Line Manager, including the movement, organisation and storage of equipment and materials

Report any site, vehicle, equipment or maintenance issues, defects or hazards to the Line Manager promptly

Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times, handling customer queries appropriately and escalating any concerns or complaints to the relevant Manager

Work cooperatively and flexibly with colleagues across the dealership to support the smooth operation of the business and maintain high standards of customer service

Comply with all relevant dealership procedures, health and safety requirements and instructions relating to the safe movement and handling of vehicles
What We’re Looking For

A Full, clean driving licence – you will be subject to licence checks

Previous experience in a driving, vehicle movement, site support or similar role would be desirable

Previous experience within a motor dealership or automotive environment would be desirable

Previous experience of vehicle cleaning or valeting would be desirable

Good customer-facing and communication skills

The ability to work independently and follow instructions from the Line Manager

A good awareness of health and safety requirements when working around vehicles and on a busy dealership site

A reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
-
Physically able to undertake the practical requirements of the role, including vehicle movements and general site duties

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 18:00, with a 1-hour unpaid break each day
Saturday: 08:30 – 12:30 as and when required
Total: 45 hours per week
